Our Story

About Us

Play Action Soulfood and More was established in April 2022. We're located at 3770 NE 3rd Ave, Pompano Beach, Florida. Our homemade food provides the perfect comfort and flavors that people need. With more than 20 years of experience, our chefs are excited to share their vision with you. Our caring and committed staff will ensure you have a fantastic and memorable dining experience.

We have worked to package our meals in a way that lets you bring the quality of our meals into your home. We always love to see you in person, but even when we can't, we ensure that your dining experience is top notch! Place your order online today, or come in and dine with us! We also deliver through DoorDash and Grubhub!

We refuse to compromise on quality. That's why we source our fresh ingredients from local farmers' markets. No matter the time of year, you can assure you're eating to best of the season!

Founder

Our founder, Lamar Jackson, is a native of Pompano Beach and is dedicated to opening his very own restaurant here in his hometown. Lamar hopes you all enjoy the fruits of his labor by creating jobs in our community...not to mention some great food to go with it!
